We are a family business with a winemaking tradition that goes back to the early 19th century. The present generation, represented by my wife and myself, set up this organic winery in the 17th-century Mas Sinén, a stone building surrounded by the family vineyards. The vines, planted in llicorella slate soils at altitudes of between 300 and 500 metres (1,000-1,500 feet), are nearly fifty years old and cover a total of 15 hectares of cultivated land on terraces and slopes. Our wines are made under the supervision of the Catalan Council for Organic Farming. They are handmade wines but we also use new technology to assure a high-quality product.
