Scala Dei Cellars

The origins of Bodegas Scala Dei date back to the nineteenth century when, following the confiscation of Mendizábal, the families of the current owners acquired the lands of the Carthusian monastery of Scala Dei and became the pioneers of wine bottling in Priorat. The facilities are located in former Carthusian buildings. The aging cellar is a construction of the seventeenth century, located in the emblematic building where the procurator of the Cartoixa lived.
