CELLERS
Cooperative Cornudella Montsant
The Celler Cooperatiu de Cornudella de Montsant is an organization that brings together more than 80 farmers from the Priorat region.
Our legacy is our territory, land with vertiginous slopes, barren and difficult, home to unique vineyards that allow us to obtain quality raw material to produce wines with a unique character, with great structure and intensity.
Our goal is to produce quality wines with the native varieties of the area, such as Garnacha and Carignan, taking advantage of the Mediterranean climate and the slate floor.
Our century-old winery, founded in 1919, is considered one of the Cathedrals of Wine. The architect Cèsar Martinell, disciple of the famous architect Antoni Gaudí, was the architect behind the creation of our winery, making this a building of great architectural spectacularity without neglecting its functionality.
At Celler Cooperatiu de Cornudella de Montsant we have always maintained a wine tradition that combines respect for the environment, technological innovation and the promotion of wine culture.
