Easter is here and, in addition to organising a getaway, perhaps you’d also like to plan where and what to eat. If you come to Priorat, you’ll definitely enjoy excellent food prepared with locally sourced produce. Do you know about our partner restaurants? Today, we’re bringing you a small sample of what you can find over these days.

Have you heard of the Restaurant Hotel-Hostal Sport? They serve market-fresh cuisine made with local produce, and their extensive menu and wine list will ensure you’ll really enjoy the experience. Priorat is a land of wines, but also of exceptional ingredients that transform its gastronomy into an absolute pleasure for the most demanding foodies.

The team in the restaurant’s kitchen is constantly learning thanks to the ongoing advice of renowned cook Pablo Castillo, who has worked in restaurants such as El Bulli and Gaig. If you’d like to discover the classic dishes, menu, Catalonian cuisine tasting menu, tapas, varieties of bruschetta, full breakfasts and wines at the restaurant Hotel-Hostal Sport, why not come here over Easter?

Our second suggestion is the Restaurant Brichs, located in Falset. Here, they offer traditional cuisine with an experimental twist. In a beautiful space you’ll love, it has a terrace for outdoor dining, as well as a bright and tranquil dining room. With views overlooking the village of Falset with the Sierra del Montsant in the background,

This restaurant is committed to excellence. Dishes on the menu include chicken croquettes, spicy patatas bravas, tuna tartare and La Ràpita prawn carpaccio, among others. They also offer a menu of rice dishes as well as a tasting menu, both of which are sure to impress. Over Easter, they are open from Wednesday 13 April until lunchtime on Sunday 17.

Still in Falset is the Restaurant El Cairat, which goes back over 30 years. They believe in work well done and offer you the very best service. Their dishes are prepared artisanally, from the bread to the desserts (including ice creams), and they also have an extensive wine list.

They have revisited traditional recipes, work with infused oils, make sauces and wine reductions, and use nuts, honey and charcuterie, always making sure that the produce is from the county or as local as possible.

In addition to customising the food to your liking, they offer visitor information about the county and can arrange visits to certain wineries. This restaurant offers you the best of the landscape, the people, the local gastronomy and locally sourced produce. Open from Tuesday to Sunday, remember you can also book for dinner.
